Similarities between Arabic and Spanish
In the year 711 the Islamic Moors from northern Africa invaded Spain. The resulting Islamic influence of Arabic culture and language on the people of Spain, gives us many words today that are very similar in Arabic and Spanish. You can also see this video on Youtube.
